Harry Potter has stretched across movies, and series like “Mission: Impossible” have sustained good quality for years, but one series towers above them all -- The Marvel Cinematic Universe. For 10 years, Marvel studios President Kevin Feige has been carefully and calmly formulating his grand master plan to intertwine some of the world’s most adored superheroes into one large, shared cinematic universe, and it all culminates in “Avengers: Infinity War.” “Avengers: Infinity War,” directed by Joe and Anthony Russo, is the 19th installment in the ever-intertwining MCU, and comes to cinemas with a $300 million budget, in case anyone doubted the time and effort put

Photographer of the week write-up: Gunner Stahl

The beauty of Gunners background is it's vagueness. Today, there are many examples of using fame as a way to create an image for yourself, especially in hip-hop. With colorful hair, creative outfits, and new brands to propel into the limelight, there are more and more interesting characters showing themselves off. Born March 12th, 1992, Gunner has stayed behind the lens himself, revealing little about himself to the public. In a short documentary with magazine FADER, Gunner explains his upbringings in Atlanta, his hometown, and how his hobby turned career skyrocketed. When he turned 18, he started using a camera and learning all about it's intricacies, and learned how to shoot "still-life", or what goes on around him. It started in school, parties, parks and so on. His best work is candid, raw, film photo. "I basically like being a fly on the wall, just chilling and taking photos" (FADER). Atlanta has boomed in the last decade, being a hot spot for hip-hop.

Humans of LBCC II

Cody Kahl I'm from Philomath and I'm currently on my third year at LBCC. I'm transferring to Oregon State at the end of the term. I chose LBCC to save money  while taking my pre-req courses. I'm studying Food & Fermentation Science with the dream of opening my own brewery. Although I attend Linn-Benton, I am part of the Acacia Fraternity at Oregon State. I joined Fall 2015 and have been apart of the house since then. I got the role of Vice President this year, and will hold the role for the 2018 calendar year. Although I'm still close to my hometown, the fraternity helped me reach out and make a ton of new friends. It has also helped me strengthen my leadership skills." Dalton Holt "I'm from a small town in eastern Oregon called Athena. As soon as I was 18 and graduated my parents moved to Boise, Idaho and I made the choice to be on my own. Since then I have attended Walla Walla community college before transferring to Oregon St

Humans of LBCC

Austin Maloney  "The reason I chose LB is because right out of high school I didn't have the best grades due to me taking honors classes my senior year, which wasn't the best choice, but at the same time it worked out well. I didn't have the GPA to go straight to OSU so I chose LBCC, and I ended up liking it a lot because I felt like I got more attention overall and in the subjects I struggled in like Math. Professor Mary Campbell helped me throughout my math classes and helped me get those core classes done. I had a counselor named Mark Weiss who helped me get into OSU and explained what classes I could segway into OSU. He also helped me get my associates in business here as well. I appreciated the attention I got and was able to get a great education for a much lower price that is just as effective".   Alex Gaub  "As a journalist, LBCC has definitely helped me realize some of the potential that I have as a writer. It's a good
